What do you think of the vintage television?

I've been watching lots of TV Land, I Love Lucy, Leave It to Beaver, Gunsmoke and etc. Although that these series are very simple and kind of naive and very moralistic, I find fasintating. I've also been watching lots of movies the day on a channel called Movieplex. It shows many old Gene Autrey, Tex Ritter and Roy Rogers movies. I even saw a movie with John Wayne plays a small role as a member of a step to steal a gang. He has been listed down on loans. Anyway, to shorten this post I found the old series and movies refreshing where crime does not pay, and good always wins out over evil. What is your opinion?

Many of they are pretty lame. But I hate shows like "Law and Order, Judging Amy, and others who make me feel as if I had a speaker. I do not want realism television or movies. I want happy endings. I want the losers to win. I am willing to always triumph over evil. My life has been more realistic I'm. No escaping that …. So why would I watch TV when there are no good guys or things will all simply wrong. There is much to be said for sitcoms and old TV westerns and all. Of course …. I never been too impressed by the scenes of the old room where the couple married (in June and Ward, for example) always had separate beds. Well Naturally, the father of all, was a doctor, who mysteriously never worked late or even worked up a sweat. There is a great film cool that is based on modern high school kids get transported in a sitcom in black and white TV called Pleasantville. Actors include Jeff Daniels, Mary Steenburgen, and William H. Macy, and a pretty young guy who was to become Spiderman. I think the name of the movie is called Pleasantville. If you have not yet seen, I think you really like, especially with your current hobby TVLand. Good luck.
