20# Short Haired Manchester Terrier just started drinking 3-4 times the amount of water he normally drinks.Normally eats 3 times a day,and drinks about 12 oz.-6 times a day(3 with food and 3 inbetween meals)(now drinking 16-20 oz. 12+ times a day).He is 6 years old and still very playful,eats the same amount of food.I live in a rural area and it’s cold outside.3 days ago I was walking him at night he jumped in some tall grass and ran out spooked(it pulled hard on his harness)(started drinking more the next morning).He gets walked 5-6 times a day,sometimes more,and doesn’t seem to want to go out more.I keep it 72 degree’s inside(although he always sits infront of the forced air heater,always has).Can’t get into the vet for 5 days(she doesn’t think it’s an emergency).He’s up to date with his shots-heart-worm too.Am I over worring,should I wait for his appt. or take him into emergency vet clinic?Or should I wait and see if he returns to normal?
